Londonderry owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Goffstown Grizzlies as they made off with an 8-0 win. That looming 8-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lancers yet this season.

Londonderry has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Goffstown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Londonderry is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop Guertin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lancers 3.5, the Cardinals 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Goffstown will face off against rival Nashua South at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
