Softball Recap: New Braunfels' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

If New Braunfels was feeling good fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Tivy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Unicorns fell just short of the Veterans Memorial Patriots by a score of 6-4 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Unicorns have suffered since February 14th.

Aubrey Myer and Kaiden Esparza stepped up to the plate in a big way. Myer went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Esparza went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
