Dublin took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Eastland, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Mavericks 12-10. The Lions' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

Dalton Bullard was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Hudson Joslin, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

The win snapped Dublin's losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 6-11 record. As for Eastland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-2.
