Football Recap: Spotsylvania Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against King George last Friday, Spotsylvania came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Courtland Cougars by a score of 21-19 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Spotsylvania's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Courtland, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Spotsylvania will welcome Caroline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers' defense has only allowed 8.2 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Courtland, they will venture away from home to take on Eastern View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
