Recap: Jeannette Jayhawks vs. Riverview Raiders
In what's become a running theme this season, the Jeannette Jayhawks gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Riverview 75-54. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jeannette.
Jeannette's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayce Powell, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Markus McGowan, who scored 17 points.
Jeannette pushed their record up to 14-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Riverview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
Jeannette will be playing in front of their home fans against Monessen at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Monessen has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 273 points over their last four matchups. Riverview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
