Volleyball Recap: Ridgewood Gets the Win

Ridgewood won the last time they faced Saint Viator and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Rebels had just enough and edged out the Lions 2-1.

Ridgewood had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-16, 25-21.

Marko Miskovic paced Ridgewood's offense, picking up 15 kills. Miskovic got some help from Longbien Pham and his 18 assists. Miskovic was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Ridgewood's win bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Saint Viator, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-22 record this season.

Ridgewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Chicago on the 15th. As for Saint Viator, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lake Forest on the 15th.
