Baseball Preview: Oak Ridge Trojans vs. Rocklin Thunder        
        
		
            
 The Oak Ridge Trojans will head out on the road to  square off against  the Rocklin Thunder at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Oak Ridge is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Last Saturday, Oak Ridge narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Whitney  4-3. The  win was just what Oak Ridge needed coming off of  a  6-0 loss in their prior  matchup.
  Bryson Elliott tossed a big game,   tossing 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits.
 At the plate,  Andrew Del Pizzo was  excellent,  going 3-for-3 with three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jasen Womack, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Rocklin waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  victory over the Bulldogs.
  Daniel Panteloglow looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Grant Munoz was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Oak Ridge's record is now 7-8. As for Rocklin, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record  this season.
 Oak Ridge came up short against Rocklin when the teams last played  two weeks ago, falling  11-6. Can Oak Ridge avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
