Volleyball Recap: Hibriten Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against West Caldwell on Tuesday, Hibriten came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the East Rutherford Cavaliers on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Hibriten was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-10, 25-17.

Hibriten's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for East Rutherford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hibriten will welcome East Burke at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Rutherford, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Burns at 6:00 p.m.
