Basketball Recap: Meadow Bridge Wildcats vs. Hannan Wildcats

The Meadow Bridge Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 75-52 walloping at the hands of Hannan. Meadow Bridge was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2017.

Eli Chapman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hannan, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds. Chapman hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Wright, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Meadow Bridge dropped their record down to 2-9 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Hannan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meadow Bridge will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the at 11:00 a.m. on January 27th. Ohio Valley Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 854th in Ohio, while the Wildcats are ranked 120th in West Virginia). As for Hannan, they will head out on the road to square off against the at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
