Huntington won the last time they faced Charleston Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Huntington Highlanders walked away with a 53-42 victory over the Charleston Catholic Irish. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Huntington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Pierson Dejneka, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Those eight boards gave Dejneka a new career-high. Avonte Crawford was another key player, going 6-for-9 to rack up 12 points.

Huntington's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Charleston Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
