Cherryville has gone a perfect 9-0 against Shelby recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cherryville Ironmen will take on the Shelby Golden Lions at 6:00 p.m. Cherryville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Cherryville took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Kings Mountain a 3-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for the Ironmen as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Parker Anderson made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024.
