Basketball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were beaten by the Waverly Warriors 72-13. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 569th, while the Warriors are ranked 252nd).

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Waverly, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

Everett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waverly, they will take on East Lansing in a tournament on Wednesday.
