Atkins came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Clarksville Panthers get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Atkins' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Clarksville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Looking ahead, Atkins will head out on the road to face off against Baptist Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clarksville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dardanelle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
