Volleyball Recap: Dieterich Takes a Loss

Dieterich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Cisne Runnin' Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Runnin' Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Dieterich was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22.

Dieterich's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Cisne, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Dieterich will head out on the road to square off against North Clay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cisne, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Christ Our Rock Lutheran on the 20th.
