Windermere had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past the Harmony Longhorns with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 21-3. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Jack Reilly was the offensive standout of the match as he threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (85 yards to be exact) went to Shawn Falahpour, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Windermere's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Daniel Bradley and his three.

Harmony's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Windermere will head out to face off against Cypress Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have been evenly matched recently as the teams are 3-3 against one another since August of 2017. As for Harmony, they will be playing at home against Poinciana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
