Basketball Game Preview: Pleasant Home Eagles vs. Kinston Bulldogs

Pleasant Home and Kinston are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Pleasant Home Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Kinston Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Pleasant Home will head out to face Kinston after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. Pleasant Home received a blow as they fell 64-48 to Florala. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Kinston had to suffer through a 86-39 loss at the hands of Brantley. While losing is never fun, Kinston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 404th, while Brantley is ranked 120th).

Pleasant Home's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-2. As for Kinston, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Pleasant Home was able to grind out a solid win over Kinston when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 48-37. Does Pleasant Home have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kinston turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
