McDowell and Cathedral Prep are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2016, but not for long. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

While losing is never fun, the Ramblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 103rd in Pennsylvania, while the Red Raiders are ranked third in New York).

McDowell will have to contain DaZarie Carson as he made an impact in Cathedral Prep's last game. He rushed for 104 yards and two TDs.

McDowell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cathedral Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Everything went McDowell's way against Cathedral Prep when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as McDowell made off with a 44-21 win. In that contest, the Trojans amassed a halftime lead of 30-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
