After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cross County, High Plains was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 49-43 win over the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles. The Storm have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

When it comes to explaining why Bruning-Davenport/Shickley lost, don't look at Levi Kamler. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 17 points and 13 boards.

High Plains' victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Bruning-Davenport/Shickley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-14.

Coming up, High Plains is taking a road trip to square off against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Storm will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Bruning-Davenport/Shickley, they will be playing at home against Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
