Basketball Recap: Ny'asia Young's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ridge Spring-Monetta over Williston-Elko

Ridge Spring-Monetta lost against Williston-Elko back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans took a 49-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Williston-Elko Blue Devils.

Ridge Spring-Monetta lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ny'Asia Young, who posted seven points along with 13 rebounds and five steals. Ridge Spring-Monetta is 8-3 when Young posts three or more steals, but 6-7 otherwise. Taylah Leaphart was another key player, putting up 17 points and four steals.
