Softball Recap: Hudson's Bay Eagles vs. Woodland Beavers

Hudson's Bay extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 27 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-11. They came up short against the Woodland Beavers, falling 33-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Beavers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-0 on Friday.

As for Woodland, the victory got them back to even at 7-7. Considering they have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

For Woodland's part, Brooke Reeder was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Reeder has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Jolie Oathes was incredible, firing off two home runs, five runs, and seven RBI while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Madison Walker was another key player, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
