Basketball Recap: Punxsutawney Starts Season with Win at Home

Punxsutawney took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They strolled past the Moniteau Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 52-38. This was payback for the Chucks, who suffered a 49-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

This is the second loss in a row for Moniteau and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Punxsutawney will head out to square off against Bradford at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Moniteau, they will venture away from home to face off against Clarion-Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
