Knoch entered their tilt with Greensburg Salem on Monday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They never let the Golden Lions get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The two-run effort marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Not much got past Marlee Fraser, who gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Greensburg Salem off the board. Fraser has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Knoch's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was McKenna Brailey, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Knoch pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Greensburg Salem, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season.
