Basketball Recap: Saint Francis Comes Up Short

Saint Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Milpitas Trojans, falling 55-27. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Lancers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Saint Francis' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Milpitas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Saint Francis will host King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milpitas, they will head out on the road to face off against Woodside at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Woodside will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Milpitas surely won't give up without a fight.
