Zionsville is 7-1 against Brownsburg since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Brownsburg took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Zionsville, who comes in off a win.

Zionsville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Carmel, who was ranked 13th at the time (Zionsville was ranked seventh). The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Greyhounds on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Greyhounds: they've now won five in a row.

Zionsville had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Brownsburg came up short against Noblesville on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Brownsburg had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 16-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Zionsville's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. As for Brownsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Zionsville came out on top in a nail-biter against Brownsburg in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
