Basketball Recap: Daylen Jones and Jevon Harris Secure Win for Creekside

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mays, Creekside was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Forest Park Panthers by a score of 68-60. This was a revenge game for the Seminoles: when they faced off against the Panthers back in November of 2024, they had to take a 57-50 defeat.

Creekside was led to victory by Jevon Harris and Daylen Jones. Harris went 9 for 11 on his way to 20 points, while Jones posted 19 points. Those 20 points gave Harris a new career-high. Nick Golden also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Creekside's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-13. As for Forest Park, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Creekside has already played their next match (against Northgate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Forest Park has already played their next game, a 67-42 loss against Midtown on the 14th.
