Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mount Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rocky Mount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-9.

Ava Jenkins was a one-woman wrecking crew For C.B. Aycock. as she had 19 assists and seven aces. Those seven aces gave Jenkins a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Moyer, who had 11 digs.

Rocky Mount's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for C.B. Aycock, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rocky Mount will face off against rival Southern Nash at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, C.B. Aycock is set to challenge their familiar foe Fike at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
