Basketball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss

Windham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 29-27 heartbreaker at the hands of the McKinley Trojans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bombers have suffered since December 1, 2025.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for McKinley, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-14.

Coming up, Windham and Badger will face off at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. As for McKinley, they will host Kingsway Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
