Basketball Recap: Collinsville Comes Up Short

Collinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost to the Lindsay Knights on the road by a 73-55 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-50 back in December of 2024.

Collinsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Lindsay, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

Collinsville has already played their next matchup (against Tioga), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lindsay will head out on the road to challenge Slidell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Slidell is on a five-game streak of home wins, Lindsay a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
