Basketball Recap: West Logan Christian Academy Takes a Loss

West Logan Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Covenant Eagles and fell 84-44. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-33 last Saturday.

West Logan Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Covenant, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Logan Christian Academy will head out to square off against Calvary Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Calvary Baptist Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something West Logan Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Covenant has already played their next matchup (against Ohio Valley Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
