Recap: Bowie Bulldogs vs. Lake Travis Cavaliers
The Bowie Bulldogs lost against the Lake Travis Cavaliers back in October of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Bowie was dealt a 66-14 loss at the hands of Lake Travis. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bowie in their matchups with Lake Travis: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the loss, Bowie still got an impressive performance from Cruz Tello, who rushed for 18 yards and two touchdowns.
Chaston Ditta had a dynamite game for Lake Travis, throwing for 336 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.4% of his passes. Lake Travis also got help from Lark Sidle who showed off his sure hands for 87 receiving yards.
Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Lake Travis, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.
Bowie will face off against McNeil at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. McNeil will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Lake Travis, they will face off against Vandegrift at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Vandegrift is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
