Basketball Recap: Episcopal Knights vs. Salmen Spartans
On Saturday, Episcopal lost to the Spartans on the road by a decisive 68-52 margin. Episcopal has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Shawn Washington, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds for Salmen. Tre Hartley was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Episcopal has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-11 record this season. As for Salmen, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-16.
Episcopal will head out on the road to square off against the Cubs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University Lab will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Salmen, they and the Warriors will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
