Recap: Kamiakin Braves vs. Pasco Bulldogs

The Kamiakin Braves entered their tilt with the Pasco Bulldogs with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Kamiakin simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Pasco 74-30 at home. Kamiakin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Nicole Wertenberger continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with five rebounds. The contest was her 12th in a row with at least ten points. Aubrie Herrin was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Kamiakin's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Pasco, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Kamiakin and Hanford will face off at 5:45 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hanford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Kamiakin is ranked seventh). Pasco and Kennewick will face off at 5:45 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Kennewick and Pasco are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
