Football Recap: Stratford Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wayne last Friday, Stratford came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the Allen Mustangs on Friday, falling 35-13. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Quinton Box was nothing short of spectacular for Allen: he rushed for 119 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 66 yards and one TD.

Stratford's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Allen, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Stratford will head out to take on Healdton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Allen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wynnewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
