Volleyball Recap: Walker Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Walker entered their match against Mount Pisgah Christian on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wolverines fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Walker actually scored more points across those three sets (59-57), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 15-11.

Annabelle Rosen paced Walker's offense, picking up eight kills. Rosen got some help from Samantha Baty and her 14 assists.

Mount Pisgah Christian found their leader in sophomore Corinna Kelsh, who had ten digs and two aces.

Walker's loss dropped their record down to 23-13. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they pushed their record up to 23-12 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Walker and Mount Pisgah Christian will both be playing The Weber School the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Rams at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
