Football Recap: Kaplan Finds Playoff Glory Versus Pine + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kaplan walked away with it. They took down the Pine Raiders 34-18 on Friday. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 21-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading Kaplan to victory were Sabe David and DE'Marion Cormier. David threw for 189 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 passes, while Cormier rushed for 75 yards and two scores.

Kaplan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Javonte Mouton and Kodi Clement.

The victory made it two in a row for Kaplan and bumps their season record up to 7-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.0 points over those games. As for Pine, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Kaplan has already played their next matchup, a 40-26 defeat against Kinder on the 21st. Pine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
