Mumford got themselves on the board against Milano on Friday, but Milano never followed suit. They blew past the Milano Eagles 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Mumford and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Milano, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6-1.

Coming up, Mumford will square off against Abbott at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Abbott will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Milano, they will take on Round Top-Carmine at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
