Basketball Recap: Pierz Takes a Loss

Pierz lost against St. Cloud Cathedral back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pierz Pioneers took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders.

Pierz has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season. As for St. Cloud Cathedral, their win bumped their record up to 11-33.

Coming up, Pierz will face off against Albany at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. St. Cloud Cathedral has already played their next game (against Willmar), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
