Softball Recap: Stansbury Takes a Loss

Stansbury saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 13-1 to the Timpanogos Timberwolves. The game marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Stansbury saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadence Spires, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Stansbury's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Timpanogos, their record is now 15-7.

Stansbury didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-2 defeat against Morgan on the 26th. As for Timpanogos, they will challenge Provo at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.2 runs per game on average), something the Timberwolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
