Baseball Recap: Saguaro Comes Up Short

Saguaro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-4 to the Crismon Rattlers. That's two games in a row now that the Sabercats have lost by exactly four runs.

Saguaro saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Miiller, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Jake Claver also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Saguaro's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Crismon, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Coming up, Saguaro will take on Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crismon, they will face off against St. Mary's at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Rattlers surely won't give up without a fight.
