After losing to Arvin the last time they met, Rosamond decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Roadrunners walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bears on Thursday.

Rosamond had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-23.

Kaitlyn Fortson paced Rosamond's offense, picking up seven kills. Fortson got some help from Kenia Sotelo Salgado and her nine assists. Logan Castro controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Rosamond's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Rosamond is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arvin, they will square off against Taft at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
