Soccer Recap: Rowan County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Boyd County on Tuesday, Rowan County came back down to earth. The Vikings fell 3-1 to the Montgomery County Indians on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Rowan County in their meetings with Montgomery County: they've now lost eight in a row.

Rowan County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Montgomery County, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rowan County will challenge East Carter at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Montgomery County, they will face off against Madison Southern at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
