Baseball Recap: Woodmont Takes a Loss

Woodmont fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Westside on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. If they were looking for revenge after losing 6-4 to the Rams when the teams met back in April of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Woodmont's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Westside, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Woodmont didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Greenville on the 14th. As for Westside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-4 victory against Laurens on the 17th.
