St. Joseph-Ogden waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 13 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

St. Joseph-Ogden pushed their record up to 18-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Illinois Valley Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph-Ogden will host Centennial at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Illinois Valley Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
