Basketball Recap: St. Paul Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

The third road match was the charm for St. Paul, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 49-41 victory over the St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-30 on January 3rd.

St. Paul moved to 5-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for St. Bernard's Central Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

St. Paul and St. Bernard's Central Catholic could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. St. Paul will challenge South at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st down 135 places (206 vs. 71). Similarly, St. Bernard's Central Catholic (ranked 279th) will meet Bay Path RVT (ranked 100th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
