Football Recap: Houghton Lake Comes Up Short

If Houghton Lake was riding high fresh off their 34-8 takedown of Lake City last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats wound up with the same score they had in their last game (34-8), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Beavers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Houghton Lake's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Beaverton, their record now sits at 4-5.

As of now, neither Houghton Lake nor the Beavers have any future games scheduled.
