Baseball Recap: Vincennes Lincoln Picks Up Tenth Straight Win on the Road

Vincennes Lincoln had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Barr-Reeve on Saturday. The Alices put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 10-1 win. The Alices might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by nine runs or more this season.

Justice Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Cooper Collins and Daniel Henderson did most of the damage at the plate: Collins went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Henderson went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Collins a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Donta Henderson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
