Softball Recap: Ferris Comes Up Short

Ferris lost against University back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Saxons came up short against the Titans, falling 17-3. The Saxons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tori Norling was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cadence Hyndman, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for University, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ferris is set to take on their familiar foe Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, University will challenge rival Lewis & Clark at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
