Softball Game Preview: Hopewell Vikings vs. Sto-Rox Vikings

Hopewell will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Sto-Rox at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Hopewell nor Sto-Rox posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Hopewell is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They fell just short of Blackhawk by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

Hopewell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alana Covalt, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Covalt a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Sto-Rox came up short against Cornell on Tuesday, falling 12-2.
