Volleyball Recap: Chicago Mt. Carmel Comes Up Short

Chicago Mt. Carmel lost against Marmion back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Caravan fell 2-0 to the Cadets.

Chicago Mt. Carmel was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Marmion work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25.

Chicago Mt. Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Marmion, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chicago Mt. Carmel is set to square off against their familiar foe Montini Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marmion will face off against rival Fenwick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
