Baseball Recap: Ontario Victorious

Ontario was handed a 15-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Diamond Ranch Panthers 4-3. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Zarek Rivas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Maddux Guerrero, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Jacob Estrada also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
